MUDDY HEAVEN FOREVER
To our beloved community,
Thank you for your continued support! Spring is exploding, we're busting at the seams with projects, and thrilled at all this 3rd year of Muddy Heaven is shaping up to be. Here's what's going on!! <3
Muddy Heaven's new monthly Garden Club is up and running! Join us as we visit gardens around the city, focusing on different themes including pollination, natives, urban animal husbandry, seed starting, compost and more. Stay tuned via instagram and email to hear about upcoming meet-up's.
Enrollment is open for Sun Sprouts Farm Camp 2023! Hosted at El Rio Community School in Lincoln Heights, our 3rd annual summer camp will run Monday - Friday for the whole month of June. We'll weave together gardening, cooking, art and play and support children's curiosity, creativity, and autonomy as they develop their relationships with the natural world. Best for children in TK and older. Sign up here, and don't hesitate to reach out for more information. And check out our feature about our camp in LA Parent Magazine from 2022 :)
And meanwhile in flower world... The plants are growing so fast! Emily's been bringing lots of blooms downtown to the Gather Flora stall at the Original Flower Market, where florists buy stems from local growers to use in their wedding and event work. And soon, Bouquet Club will be back (!!) with weekly and bi-weekly bouquet subscription options for the summer months. Pick up at Sustain LA in Highland Park or at Emily's house in Van Nuys, sign up here. Truly can't wait to share the abundance of flowers and herbs with everyone so soon :')
Thank you for your continued and enthusiasm and support for this project, we wouldn't be here without you <3

Muddy Heaven is an urban farm in Highland Park, Los Angeles, occupied Tongva/Kizh land. We weave together farming, cooking and play in order to build radical relationships with the land, ourselves, and each other. Our organically grown food, flowers, and herbs are distributed to the community through educational programming, farm stands, and donations to local mutual aid networks.
